Special Needs Animals for Adoption

  • RUBIO

    Age: 8 years

    Breed: DSH

    Gender: Male

Rubio was an owner surrender to the ACC when his behavior suddenly changed. Come to find out he was developing some pain due to not having his back two feet, so it was beginning to hurt walking on his nubs. He may take some time to adjust to new surroundings. Even though he is missing his two back feet this doesn’t slow him down one bit.

  • SILVER

    Age: Approx. 3 years old

    Gender: Male

    Breed: Russian Blue Mix

This unique guy was saved from the city after he was placed on the euthanasia list. Silver has a disorder known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which is a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completelv developed. The cerebellum is the part of the brain that is responsible for balance and coordination, which causes cats with this condition to have mild to profound motor coordination issues. BUT, this doesn't stop Silver from anything! This amazing boy is able to walk around, go to the bathroom, eat/ drink, and do just about everything that a cat likes to do! He just does things wobbly! Silver loves to rub his head onto his favorite person and flop over for more belly rubs! He's great with other cats, kids, and even dogs! What isn't there to love?!

  • TILLIE

Tillie was surrendered to us when her original owner could no longer care for her. She is a very sweet kitty who would either have to be adopted alone or adopted to a home with another cat that is allergic to eating chicken. INDOOR ONLY!
